Sazabi vs Coralogix: How They Compare for Teams Weighing a Telemetry Lake

By Sazabi Team

Prices and facts checked on vendor pages on Nov 8, 2026.

Coralogix positions itself as a telemetry lake: every signal lands in storage you own and is queried in place. Sazabi is a smaller product for teams that want production issues found and explained without designing data tiers. Sazabi wrote this page, so check the numbers against the Coralogix pages listed below the article.

How Coralogix Works and Charges

The facts below come from the Coralogix pricing page and platform page, read on 2026-11-08. The pricing page headlines logs at $0.42 per GB, traces at $0.16 per GB, metrics at $0.06 per GB (1 GB is 750 active time series) and AI at $1.50 per 1M tokens, all with infinite retention in your bucket.

The unit is what you actually buy. One unit is $1.50 of usage across pipelines, and your plan is a daily quota of units. The FAQ gives two examples of how data maps to units: logs in the frequent search pipeline cost $1.15 per GB, and logs in the monitoring pipeline cost $0.50 per GB. A TCO Optimizer assigns data to pipelines by use case. The page says all features come with every plan, with no pricing tiers.

Some details that change a bill:

  • Daily quota alerts fire at 80 percent. Pay-as-you-go can extend ingestion to 2x the plan quota.
  • If you hit quota and take no action, data is blocked until 00
    UTC.
  • Unused units expire at the end of the term.
  • Archived logs and traces are compressed by 5x, which the page prices at an effective $0.003 per GB in S3. That storage is in your account.
  • Frequent search retention is yours to pick, and the page does not recommend more than 7 days.

The platform page adds unlimited users and hosts, RBAC, SSO with SAML, audit trail, and access for agents through MCP, CLI and API.

How Sazabi Works and Charges

Sazabi has no pipelines to assign. Logs go to one intake from the OpenTelemetry Collector, Vector or Fluent Bit, with no schemas or parsing rules to write first. Sazabi watches them, opens an issue when something is wrong, ties it to your code through GitHub, and alerts in Slack or Microsoft Teams. It does not write the fix. It passes the root cause to your coding agent.

Plans are $50, $200 and $1,000 per 30 days. Each includes 200 GB ingested, 50 GB scanned, 20 issues and 500 AI credits. Overage is $0.10 per GB ingested, $0.10 per GB scanned, $4 per issue and $0.01 per credit. See the Sazabi pricing page for current numbers.

Sazabi holds SOC 2 Type II, SOC 1, ISO 27001 and ISO 27017 certifications. Anyone who signs an NDA, customer or not, can request the SOC 2 Type II report and ISO 27001 audit reports from the Sazabi Trust Center. HIPAA safeguards are available on select plans.

A Worked Monthly Example

Assumptions: 1 TB (1,000 GB) of logs per month, logs only, 30-day retention. For Coralogix, the page does not tie its $0.42 headline to a specific pipeline, so the table shows the three listed per-GB figures side by side. S3 storage in your account is excluded. For Sazabi, Startup plan, scanned volume at 0.4 GB per GB ingested (an assumption), no extra issues or AI credits.

Product and rateMonthly cost for 1,000 GB
Coralogix at $0.42 per GB headline$420
Coralogix at $0.50 per GB, monitoring pipeline$500
Coralogix at $1.15 per GB, frequent search$1,150
Sazabi Startup$200 + $80 over allowance + $35 scan = $315

A real Coralogix bill is a mix of pipelines, so your number will land somewhere between the rows, depending on how much goes where. Sazabi has one meter for storage and processing but adds a scan meter, so a team that searches constantly should model that line first.

Key Differences for a Log-Centered Team

Where the work goes. With Coralogix you decide which data deserves expensive hot search and which goes straight to the bucket. That control lowers cost, and it is also configuration someone must own. With Sazabi you send everything and the plan sets retention.

Where the data lives. Coralogix keeps the long-term copy in your cloud account and queries it in place. Sazabi's hosted plans keep data in Sazabi's infrastructure, and BYOC moves the processing and storage into your account with Sazabi operating it.

Scope. Coralogix covers APM, RUM, profiling, infrastructure monitoring and security features beyond logs. Sazabi does not claim that breadth.

When to Pick Coralogix

  • You want years of data in your own bucket, queryable without rehydration.
  • You need one platform for logs, traces, metrics, RUM, profiles and AI telemetry, with unlimited users.
  • You have a platform team that will manage pipelines and the TCO Optimizer.
  • You want SSO, RBAC and audit trail included in the price.

When to Pick Sazabi

  • You do not want to manage data tiers or quotas, and want a plan you can read in one table.
  • You want problems found without building monitors, then handed to Claude Code, Codex or Cursor with the investigation attached.
  • You want confirmed repository vulnerabilities filed as issues next to runtime issues.
  • Your team is small and a $200 plan with allowances fits your volume.

Trying Sazabi Alongside Coralogix

If an OpenTelemetry Collector sits in front of Coralogix, add Sazabi as another otlphttp exporter. Sazabi's docs describe it as an additional OTLP/HTTP destination alongside existing exporters, so Coralogix keeps receiving everything. Send logs and traces for a few weeks, compare the issues Sazabi opens with the alerts you already have, and decide from there. For a different log-pricing model, see how the Better Stack comparison handles per-GB regional rates.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Coralogix unit?

Per the Coralogix pricing page, one unit equals $1.50 of logs, metrics and traces across its data pipelines. For example, 1.3 GB of logs in frequent search at $1.15 per GB, or 3 GB in the monitoring pipeline at $0.50 per GB, each equal one unit.

Does Coralogix store data in my own cloud account?

Coralogix says all data is written to your own Amazon S3 bucket after parsing and enrichment, and that you can query it remotely from its UI. Check the current documentation for the clouds and regions available to you.

Can I send logs to Coralogix and Sazabi at once?

If you ship through an OpenTelemetry Collector, add Sazabi as another otlphttp exporter next to your Coralogix one. Sazabi documents itself as an additional destination alongside existing exporters.
